I could also name this post ''the obsession of being blonde'', because it's something I've always wanted to be. If you think it, it's a really stupid thing but being blonde makes me so happy...
My natural hair color is black, so dying it blonde has taken a long time and the results I wanted to see have taken a long time. Now I've finally achieved my dream, I am so happy.
You may wonder why can be such a foolish thing my dream. Well, I don't even know why neither, but I think it's something related to self-steem.
I've never been a bombshell or someone who made turn heads around, though I considered myself quite pretty, I've always known that I'm not a hottie. I've always loved blonde women and when I look at their hair it's like: ''wow!'', I am allured by the blonde hair. My idol, Marilyn Monroe, is who I want to become; her hair is beyond beautiful...
My family doesn't like my blonde hair and they try to convince me every now and then to go back to my natural hair color; I absolutely won't do it, it doesn't matter how many times they repeat it.
I'm not saying that being a brunette isn't good! Of course there are a lot of brunettes who are really gorgeous - I could name some right now: Adriana Lima, Megan Fox, Angelina Jolie... and the list of gorgeous brunettes could be much longer but I think that I've named the most beautiful ones.
So, I am not saying being a brunette is less sexy or worse than being blonde, I am saying that I consider blondes to look more angelic and that seems such a sweet thing to me.
Sometimes I think that I want to be blonde just because I am a brunette, and everybody wants the opposite of what they have. We are very noncomformists, and that's the human race.
